[FULL ALBUM BASS COVER] Metallica: St. Anger
Everyone's favorite Metallica album, from start to finish. Bob Rock wrote some amazing bass lines in this album. This album came through so much from its start at the Presidio which came into St. Anger today. As a wise man once said "St. Anger isn't their worst album. It's an album for your worst days."
All songs are tuned in Drop C tuning with the low B being dropped to a G. Dirty Window was tuned in Drop C# tuning. On Invisible Kid, I tuned to D# standard and dropped the low B to a G#.

The twelfth and final track off of St. Anger. It’s amazing how there can be multiple versions of this song. I really love the acoustic version of this song as well. For some reason I totally forgot the structure of the middle section of the song and tried my best to redeem myself.

The sixth track off of St. Anger. This one is one of my favorites from the album. However, I’m not a big fan of the “It’s My World” being repeated in the middle of the verse. I love the small bass riff at the end. I originally saw a video where Bob Rock recorded it with a capo on the bass but I’m not sure if it was in the final mix or not.

The third song off of St. Anger. I like the main riff of this song, but some parts feel repetitive. The chorus is my favorite part of the song.

The second and title track off of St. Anger. The next popular song on the album, this one has a cool bass line that’s fun to play. I really like the “I need to set my anger free” part of the song.

The fourth track off of St. Anger. After hearing them playing it live it started to grow on me. I originally learned to play this in the standard tuning that Robert Trujillo will play it in live, but I wanted to stay true to the tuning of the album.

The first song from St. Anger. This is probably known to many as the most popular song on the album. I do like the groove during the breakdown and the bass line during the chorus.

The tenth and final track off of Death Magnetic. This bass track was the hardest to play and the most intense one as well. I know I flubbed a little bit before the last verse but I haven’t played this one in quite some time and had to learn some parts quick.

Best cover I’ve seen. A lot of people don’t realize the ending is played on both the higher and lower octave (I didn’t even realize this until I separated the stems and listened)
Sounds guitar sounds exactly how we all play it cause nobody has ever tuned down to play it lol

I tuned to E Flat standard and just tuned the low B down to an A flat. It would be considered drop A flat tuning.
